H+S South Limburg

Join us on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 for a Hide + Seek game across South Limburg! The game uses the regional buses and trains of the region, making it a fun map with some complex strategy.

Getting There

• Meeting point: We will meet in front of the Maastricht railway station.
• Flights: Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) is the local option, but has few flights. Other airports in the wider region include Brussels (BRU & CRL), Düsseldorf (DUS), Köln Bonn (CGN) and Schiphol (AMS). All are well connected to trains going to Maastricht.
• Trains: The station has direct trains to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Liege and Aachen, making it well connected to anyone in the Euregio and further. Cities like Cologne and Brussels are also less than a 2 hour train journey away.
• Transit tickets: The game runs on a complex network combining regional busses and trains. We recommend to use either the Euregioticket or the Dagkaart Dal ticket, both available in the Arriva app, on the Arriva website or at Arriva ticket machines.

Game Info & Map

• Format: Standard Hide + Seek rules with a Medium Metric setup and Expansion Pack.
• Playable area: The map covers the train stations and certain bus stops on the lines used.
• Hiding radius: 500 m around the chosen station.
• Map: Due to the complexity of the used network, the map is not finished yet but will come soon.

About South Limburg

South Limburg is a very different region from the rest of the Netherlands, known for its towering hills compared to the rest of the country. Combining the Dutch, Belgian and German cultures and adding some of their own unique features. During the game you will get to see and experience a lot of the special culture and region.
While the food here is very good, not all hiding zones have a grocery store. Preparing some sort of food is recommended. Bring a bottle, comfortable shoes, and enough phone battery for navigation, communication, and checking connections and disappear in this vast rural area!
